Status update

Hi!

It’s been a deep focus period since summer 2024 were the new Y.js support for Dexie and Dexie Cloud has been developed. This project became feature complete in October and since that, me and one of my wonderful customers is doing cooperative work on a new Dexie Starter sample app — an extremely simple note-taking app that uses tiptap text editor with realtime collaboration through Dexie Cloud.

This simple app also have full-text search of notes (using multi-entry index and lunr.js) as well as organizing notes into spaces and sharing spaces with friends.

It might seem that things are moving slowly with issues and feature requests as some other things have had to wait.

During the last and coming weeks, we’ll be quality assuring the Y.js support and deciding on how the API will be. Some refactorings are also being done but I hope to get all these goodies out as soon as possible.
